GoGCast 127: Outerminds - Interview with Guiz de Pessemier

We were on location at Outerminds’ brand new offices in downtown Montreal for this week’s GoGcast. The studio is better known for their collaboration with Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg (aka Pewdiepie), having produced two games for the famous youtuber: Pewdiepie: Legend of the Brofist and Pewdiepie’s Tuber Simulator. Guiz de Pessemier, one of Outermind’s 4 co-founders, walks us through the studio’s history, from when it was founded, to their first game all the way to their work with Pewdiepie.

Cuphead’s style is based on 1930’s cartoons and it uses the same animation techniques: cell shading and watercolour backgrounds, mixing traditional animation with challenging gameplay.
